Who we are

The Dorking Town Forum exits as there is no local town council. We are community representatives, business groups and local organisations based in and around Dorking.

Terms of Reference

To consider...

  1. proposals for the development and implementation of the town strategy as contained in the Mole Valley Local Plan;
  2. other initiatives for its management, physical improvement and access;
  3. where necessary, priorities for investment directed at the town;
  4. its promotion as commercial, social and cultural centre.
And to make recommendations to the relevant District and County Council Committees, officers and other bodies as appropriate.
